HDI Heavy Duty Industrial System (8-Anode) |
| The Heavy-Duty Industrial System (8-Anode) is
a self-contained anti-corrosion system designed to operate maintenance
free. REC Technologies twenty years of results in Capacitive Discharge
Oxidation Interference has maintain a position of leadership, as well as
in innovative status in the industry of electronic erosion/corrosion
protection. The outstanding resistance of the HDI protects against severe climatic conditions throughout it's expected ten years warranted operating life. Our design is the result of modern engineering techniques that promote the best possible performance, giving us the ability to optimize the use of materials which reduce financial losses and maximize the life expectancy of the protected item. |

| The HDIS is powered by either a 12 V or 24V DC power supply. Using an adapter/converter of 110 V or 220 V AC electrical supply, the unit can be used for all heavy industrial installations. The adapter/Converter should be connected to the 12VDC input wires. The input power of the DC model is not a problem on motorized vehicles since they all require a storage battery. Most heavy-duty vehicles are equipped with a 24-volt system. | |

Specifications For Coverage Area And Anode
Location The output of the HDIS is designed and capable of protecting up to 40 square meters of painted sheet metal. It is possible to protect smaller area such as motor vehicle or home appliance such as refrigerator, washing machine or a vending machine. |
Each anode is to be installed at regular interval of space; using the square meters of the protected item divided by the number of anodes used. Install the anodes in areas that are susceptible to corrosion particularly nearer to the bottom one-third of the protected item. |
