INTRODUCTION TO ELECTROLYZER 2

The ELECTROLYZER 2 is specially designed as a powerful visual demonstration tool to compare the purity of R.O. purified water, distill water and untreated water through the precipitation of solids*. It is easy to explain the unknown dissolved solids in portable water.

(Note: This test does not suggest that untreated water is unsafe for drinking.)

EASY OPERATION

  1. After unpacking, use a dry cloth to wipe off the layer of protective oil on the electrodes.
  2. Screw in the electrodes on the base of the unit according to the sizes of the fitting screw.
  3. Fill a glass with tap water and another with the R/O purified water or distill water.
  4. Ensure that the switch is “OFF” and dip tow of the electrodes in each glass of water.
  5. Plug the electrical socket into the AC socket the switch “ON” the unit.
  6. The LED will light up when the switch is in the “ON” position.
  7. The untreated water will gradually change its color and solid precipitated; while the R.O. or distill water will remain crystal clear.
  8. Switch “OFF” the unit once the result is shown.
  9. Remove the unit from the water and wipe dry the electrodes.
  10. Remove the rust on the electrodes/s as and when is necessary before applying a thin layer of oil before storing.
SIMPLE MAINTENANCE

  1. After using, rust may develop on one or two of the electrodes. Use a fine sandpaper to remove the rust. Replacement electrodes are available from your supplier.
  2. If the fuse were blown due to high TDS in water, replace the fuse with only 1 Amp fuse.
  3. Always remember to unplug unit from AC socket during maintenance.

WARNING !!**

Important : Read Warning Instructions On Precaution of Use !
This is a High Voltage Device, Use With Extra Caution

NEVER switch the unit “ON” and left it unattended.
NEVER touch the electrodes or place them on the table while the unit is switched “ON”.
DO NOT test water with TDS exceeding 300 ppm.
DO NOT use fuse above 2 AMP.

Total Dissolved Solids Pocket PAL™ Tester
  • Ideal for quick TDS spot checks, Tester accuracy is +/- 2% full range
  • Range measurement: 10ppm --- 1990ppm.
  • Accuracy of measurement: 10ppm. Display — “199” x 10ppm.
  • Deviation of measurement ±2% (full range)
  • Temperature of usage: 10 -- 50ْ C. Humidity: 90%RH
  • Battery type: 2 x 1.5V.
  • The design of new product ignores the effect from the temperature. That means it will not include the temperature complementary.
  • New product will use NEC Microprocessor that includes A/D converter, LCD controller. LCD can display data with three digit decimal, “x 10” symbol and the unit symbol “ppm”
  • There are two keys “on/off”, “hold”, (a) “on/off” key control power on/off, press “on/off” key, Buzzer do not have sound. (b) Press “hold” key, the data display will be on hold, press “hold” key again, will release “hold” function. Internal buzzer will make sound when press each time.
